Kline Ventures, LP - Developer
Kline Ventures, LP was founded on August 7, 2002, with the purchase of a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom single family home in the north campus area of The University of Texas at Austin. Shortly thereafter, in January 2003, Kline developed a 12 bedroom duplex that was completed and occupied in August 2003. Between October 2003 and May 2004, the company grew through a string of 10 acquisitions from one individual owner. In May, 2005, Kline acquired Boardwalk Campus Management - a 12 property portfolio consisting of houses, duplexes, and small complexes.
With the acquisition of 2020 Apartments in early September 2007, Kline has grown from one house with four bedrooms to 26 properties with 357 bedrooms that include houses, duplexes, and apartment developments in and around the

Master Planned Community and Condominium Practice Group
The Master Planned Community and Condominium Practice Group of Armbrust & Brown, L.L.P. (the "MPC and Condo Group") concentrates on master planned community and condominium development, from inception of the project through completion and transition to owner control. Headed up by Armbrust & Brown, L.L.P. partner Robert D. Burton, the MPC and Condo Group is comprised of five attorneys whose focus is exclusively within this practice area.
In representing condominium developers, the MPC and Condo Group prepares project documents, consumer disclosures, sales reservations and contracts and other materials relating to the creation and administration of a condominium regime. In addition, the MPC and Condo Group assists condominium developers in meeting and achieving federal financing pre-approval, e.g., FNMA and FHA, and complying with federal Interstate Land Sales Act registration and disclosure requirements.
